Nettleleaf Horsemint, or Hyssop, (Agastache urticifolia) The genus, Agastache is derived from the Greek work agan, meaning very much and stachys, meaning a spike. The species, urticifolia, refers to the nettle-shaped leaves which can be soaked to make tea or used in stews. The seeds are edible raw or cooked. Blooms in July, near Gold Lake, Calif., in July of 2017.
